"Cabaret Table In Cherry And Oak, Louis XV - 18th Century"
Louis XV Cabaret table in cherry wood and oak legs, opening at the waist with a drawer, molded on the sides and bottom. The lock and key are original and in working order. The entrance is made of iron, placed horizontally. The belt under the drawer is cut with a slight molding below which is profiled with arched feet known as humpbacks. They are molded and end with volutes in the lower part. This piece of furniture has heart-shaped cut-out sides with moldings as well. The top of this cabaret table is made up of three well-joined boards and an "end" part at the ends, to prevent deformation of the three boards. The perimeter is bec de corbin. This piece of furniture is completely doweled with small old dowels testifying to its great age. ******** Period: 18th Century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. Waxed finish.
