"Holy Face With Relics Of Saints Amator And Vietrix – Circa 1800"
A rare reproduction of the Holy Face on fabric, adorns the center of our reliquary and its assembly loaded with golden thread cannetilles, fabric flowers and numerous colored beads.Saint Amator and Saint Vietrix, both Martyrs of the first centuries, accompany us with their bagged ex-ossibus relics. Episcopal seals on the back clearly legible indicating a parish in Latin: “ecclesie parochialis peii aviensis” in the center of which is represented Saint Catherine of Alexandria and her classic attributes.
A work from Tyrol from the very beginning of the 19th century.
Beautiful dimensions of 42 cm by 34.
Very good condition of the composition and the wooden frame.
