Born in Saumur in 1945 - Angers 2006. Jacques Tempereau studied in Cholet where we discovered his talents as a draftsman. In 1985, he invented and patented the “Daphné” bath seat, which is still on sale. From 1990, he invested in figurative art through painting and sculpture and won numerous first prizes for sculpture in different regions of France2. He participates in drawing classes at the Regional School of Fine Arts in Angers as well as at the Regional School of Fine Arts in Nantes. Jacques Tempereau will create a certain number of paintings, statuettes as well as monumental statues, notably in bronze or resin, for orders from the cities of Angers, Cholet3, as well as for the Angers airport. He participates in various artistic events in France and in particular in Paris where he exhibits some of his works, at the Paris Salon, at the Salon d'Automne as well as at the Salon Comparisons. He died on November 22, 2006 in Saint-Jean-des-Mauvrets. In July-August 2008, a “Jacques Tempereau retrospective exhibition” was organized in Trélazé, in the old slate stables, during the Trélazé4 festival.
