Six-sided barrel, top band marked: MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS MF'G. CO. NEW YORK; marked on bottom: PATENTED DEC. 27.1859; 60% blued finish and factory engraved with scrolling foliage.
Brass frame, 80% silver plated. Seven-chamber barrel, stamped. Engraved with a battle scene on foot between settlers and Amerindians.
Spurred trigger tail.
Varnished walnut stock plates.
All parts numbered, including grips.
