"Provençal Showcase, 18th Century"
Small showcase called "verriot" in walnut, Provence, 18th century; it opens, in a front cut out like a policeman's hat on the top, with a cross-shaped leaf surmounting two small drawers; low crosspieces with cutouts, highlighted by a molding, the front one sculpted with a stylized flower basket caught between two leafy branches; rounded front uprights; paneled sides; front feet arched and volute; heart-shaped cutout shelves.
