Curious Dish With 3 Fishes, Carved Alabaster, 19th Century Europe. Voltera? flag

Object description :

"Curious Dish With 3 Fishes, Carved Alabaster, 19th Century Europe. Voltera? "
Very curious little dish, cylindrical in shape, slightly hollow. It is decorated in its center with 3 fishes, sculpted in high relief, possibly the representation of a coat of arms. The one in the center and the top in one reading direction, the bottom one in another direction. Antique item, curious and genuine, rare to find!
Excellent condition, no break or flaw, even few wear.
European working, probably Italian, could be Voltera, dating from the second part of the 19th century, or earlier.
Dimensions: 18cm diameter x 2.5cm H
