"Set Of Eight 19th Century Dining Chairs With Carved Backs"
A wonderful suite of eight antique French country dining chairs, dating from the 19th century, and full of character and quirky detail. These comfortable chairs feature woven rush seating, and pierced back splats carved with a charming motif of flowers and foliage in a vase. The top rail is high and smoothly rounded for extra support, and a particularly attractive and unusual feature is the square tapered front stretcher that joins the front legs of each chair. A superb set of chairs, full of rustic French country character.
