Émile Van Doren (Brussels, 1865- Genk, 1949).
Belgian landscape painter known for his views of Limburg and the Kempen. After his training at the Brussels academy, E. Van Doren settled permanently in Genk. He was sometimes called the aristocrat of Campine painters. In Limburg, Van Doren was the precursor of a long line of landscapers. He himself was inspired, among others, by F. Courtens and J. Cosemans. He exhibited several times, between 1905 and 1912, at the circle of fine arts in Liège. Works at the Émile Van Doren Museum
