"Large Cloisonne Vase "
Large cloisonné vase on copper in the meiping shape, from Japan at the end of the Edo period. Its large size, 75 cm, makes it remarkable from the outset, but its background color, a powder pink with a thousand shades, makes up most of its charm. Against this magnificent background, chrysanthemums with lively petals, with rare colors, and whose foliage are treated in light shadows stand out. The interior of the bottom is dressed in blue enamel. We will note a discreet lack on one side, which can easily be restored, which in our opinion is not necessary, and a small dent inside the collar, invisible from the outside. In our opinion: a remarkable piece for its intrinsic qualities and its great decorative value.
