"Pair Of Vintage Japanese Lacquer Cabinets Early 18th Century"
A very rare pair of Japanese gold lacquer cabinets on a black background. Each of the cabinets opens with two lacquered doors on the inside which reveal ten small drawers of different sizes decorated with a decoration of flowers and foliage. the doors are lacquered with decorations of animals, pagodas, trees, flowers and foliage. The sides and top as well. The back is lacquered with foliage inserted in circle-shaped cartridges. The exceptional character of these cabinets is that they form a real pair: which is very rare.
