"Suite Of Four Louis XVI Period Chairs Stamped Lebas"
Dimensions: H 90 cm x W 46 cm x D 44 cm

Beautiful set of four white lacquered wooden chairs with openwork gendarme hat backs.

They have a central Lyre decoration, highlighted with acanthus leaves, beaded on the sides and topped with a pine cone in the center and sculpted flowers on each side. 

The uprights of the backrest are in fluted column with capital, topped with plumes. 
The belt, with a slight projection, is highlighted with a beaded frieze which connects flowered connecting dice supporting four tapered and fluted legs.

Louis XVI period work stamped by Lebas
Barthélemy Lebas received master on August 13, 1771, eldest son of Jean-Baptiste Lebas 
Seat to be reupholstered.
