"At The Water's Edge By Alfred Godchaux"
Very beautiful work by Alfred GODCHAUX (1835-1895). It is an Oil on canvas signed lower left and measuring 54 x 73 cm (69 x 87 cm with its period frame). The painting has never been cleaned or restored; it is very dirty but is in good condition and has no holes or cracks. There are, however, some small paint losses, visible in the photographs.
