Jules Oury, known as Marcel-Lenoir was born in Montauban and worked in the Impressionist manner. A very attractive Impressionist painting in good condition. He died in Montricoux, where a museum of his works is located in a beautiful castle, known as the Marcel-Lenoir Museum. According to the label on the back the painting was once exhibited in the Gemeente Museum of Amsterdam.
