Three Boxwood Cones For What Use? flag

Object description :

"Three Boxwood Cones For What Use?"
I love turned boxwood. No, these are not spinning tops or the end of stair railings (nor nutcrackers, just there for the photos) don't go imagining more... they are plumber's shoe trees which in the 19th century were supposed to give shape respectable to lead pipes and water downspouts. Magnificent and interesting shapes in turned boxwood.
