"Japan - Reduced Samurai Armor - Showa Era - 1970"

Very pretty and complete samurai armor of reduced size accompanied by its original "karabitsu" type chest. The materials making up the different elements are authentically the same as those of traditional armor: silk, fabric, metal and leather. The kabuto (helmet) is beautifully decorated with long iron kuwagata between which a dragon sits. The menpo (half-mask) is flanked by a mustache. Very good general condition. Dimensions: Height: 70 cm; width: 37 cm. Origin: Japan. Period: Showa era (1926 - 1989) - Year 1970 Conditions: Very good general condition.
