Large wedding icon representing the Virgin of Kazan painted in tempera on wood. Riza in embossed and finely chiseled silvered copper. The halos have polychrome enameled decoration. Back covered with red velvet. Russia, late 19th century. Please note: this icon is in very good general condition. We chose to leave it with its beautiful patina. The cleaning of the riza can be refined. Please look at the photos carefully.
