Circa 1810-1830 France Large curtain in woven and embroidered white muslin dating from the first third of the 19th century. Paperback cotton voile inspired by Indian Jamdani muslins. Curtain in two sewn strips decorated with large stylized flower bouquets and openwork pistils, typical of the Restoration period. Muslins and sheer curtains from the early 19th century are extremely rare. Equipped with the original cotton ties. Note two period repairs (see last two photos), otherwise clean part without holes. Very good state of conservation. Perfect for historical decoration. Dimensions: 303 cm high by 132 cm wide.
