WATERCOLOR SIGNED GUILLAUME DESGRANGES REPRESENTING A VIEW OF THE BAY OF MONT SAINT MICHEL MADE IN THE 20TH CENTURY - VERY GOOD GENERAL CONDITION - Guillaume Jacques François Desgranges, born in Avranches on February 10, 1886 and died in Coutances on February 1, 1967, is a painter and lithographer French. A student of Fernand Cormon and Charles Léandre, he exhibited at the Salon des artistes français from 1906 where he obtained a gold medal in 1925, the year in which he passed out of competition and became a member of the jury (engraving and lithography section) . His works are kept at the Petit Palais Museums in Avranches and Coutances1.
