18K Gold (750/000), Platinum, Old Cut Diamond and 8/8 Cut Diamonds Tank Ring, circa 1940.
Tank ring in 18K rose gold and platinum set with a single old cut diamond weighing approximately 1 carat and two lines of old cut diamonds weighing 0.40, for a total of approx. 1.40 carats of diamonds. The red stones are probably "Verneuils" (synthetic rubies) often used at that time.
The design of this ring with geometric lines is typical of Tank rings.
