A large Rotaflex pendant light composed of a single flattened, ivory-colored round piece, including its bale cover, dating back to the 1960s.

The material used in crafting this pendant light is Rotaflex, an innovative plastic substance formed from coiled cellulose acetate threads. This material distinguishes itself with its translucency, radiant sheen, and featherlight weight. This pioneering material was developed in the 1950s by the Atelier de Recherche Plastique (A.R.P.), founded by esteemed designers such as Pierre Guariche, Joseph-André Motte, and Michel Mortier.
