Bowl or jatte with a sky-blue background and geometric friezes. The centre of the saucer is monogrammed.

The Dagoty factory
Founded by Pierre-Louis Dagoty and his brothers in 1798, this is a perfect example of the golden age of hard porcelain in Paris. Their work is recognisable by its use of "thick gold" and sumptuous painted decorations, often combined with areas left blank. Their success enabled them to become Manufacture de l'Impératrice from 1804.
