"Suite Of Six Empire Period Mahogany Armchairs."
Beautiful suite of six mahogany armchairs from the Empire period. The upper part of the backrest, topped with a molded crosspiece, is carved with lotus flowers at the ends. The armrests and uprights are decorated with embossed palmettes. They rest on saber-sheathed feet at the back and turned feet at the front, called “Jacob feet”. The old fittings covered with velvet are in good used condition. The woodwork is in perfect condition. Period first third of the 19th century. W/D/H: 60 x 59 x 94 cm.
