Block with 4 rifled barrels, sliding horizontally; blued finish, numbered on bottom 1324. Control stamp. Engraved on the top with thunder and volutes at the muzzle, and on each side with a cartouche flanked by foliage. 
Rotating percussion cap. Spurred trigger tail. All screws numbered.
99% silver-plated brass frame, factory engraved with scrolling foliage and friezes; marked on the left side: C SHARPS PATENT. TIPPING & LAWDEB.
Gutta percha stock plates.
