Honorary lamp in nickel-plated metal, with faceted glass, engraved with the words "Georges Paques Ingénieur". H: 22 cm Manufacturer: C. Cornil in Gilly (Belgium). - George Paques (1890-1948): He was attached to the mines directorate in Brussels at the beginning of 1935. It was at the end of 1942 that he was given the rank of chief engineer director of mines and in 1943 commander of the order of the crown. - Book documentation: Annales des mines de Belgique 1947/48 Brussels technical and scientific editions by Robert Louis (photos 7 and 8).
