Rare and of magnificent proportions of high manufacture. In very finely chiseled gilded bronze, architecture in the rocaille style of animated shapes, curves and counter-curves in a decoration of foliage decorated with openwork surfaces. On the sides, long mesh plates chiseled with flowers provide interior light so that you can see its pendulum through the front and rear sides covered by glass. Topped at the top by a pair of swallows, symbolizing fidelity.

Large and splendid domed dial in white enamel finely decorated in gilded brass with fleur-de-lys, diamonds and golden tips. Accompanied by finely chiseled golden hands, the whole is protected by a curved glass.

Signed on the dial "Lépine horologist of the king", mechanism stamped Pon's gold medals dated 1827. Mechanism of a large size and of a quality well above average with an atypical escapement whose pallets are in red agate.
