Precious Pyrogen In Gold And Sterling Silver Guilloché. Matchbox. 19th - 20th

Superb and large pyrogen in silver and gold, it probably dates from the end of the 19th century or the very beginning of the 20th.

The pyrogen is quite elongated, it is made of silver entirely guilloché with fine wavelets.
The top of the lid is engraved with flowers in an oval cartouche.
The face is engraved with a superb number: FM (?)

Two 18k gold rims highlight the base and the lid of the pyrogen. The snap is also gold, as is the hinge.

I did not find a hallmark but the silver and 18k gold were tested on the touchstone.

Superb pyrogen made from precious materials with a fine guilloché pattern catching the light magnificently.
