Magnificent jumping chest of drawers in rosewood and violet wood marquetry... This chest of drawers is stamped by Jean Michel TAIRRAZ Lyonnais cabinetmaker from the 18th century. He passed his master's degree in 1756 and settled in Lyon, rue des Marronniers It is signed in two places on the back of the left rear upright and on the edge of the right front upright The Marquetry, in butterfly wing curling in the center delimited by an oval cutout, scalloped and separated by a net of boxwood Typical decor of this cabinetmaker... This piece of furniture is entirely original and has its period locks (the key has been redone) The interior of the drawers as well as the sliding in very good state of conservation. These original bronzes still have their 18th century gilding It is topped with its Rose du Languedoc marble...
