Ceremonial Kaftan In Silk Lampas From Fez Or Lyon - Morocco Circa 1900-1930

Circa 1900-1930 Morocco Beautiful Moroccan ceremonial kaftan in brocade silk lampas and dating from the first third of the 20th century. Paperback cream satin background with large decoration of flowered baskets decorated with daisy medallions, Lyon production dedicated to the Moroccan market or Fez production which specializes in the manufacture of this type of lampas. Perimeter of the coat in blue and white silk embroidery and embroidered bell buttons matching the Jewish star. Original white glossy cotton percale lining. The silk is slightly worn at the armpits (see last photo), otherwise no other visible damage. Collector's item in very good color and conservation condition. Portable possibly.
