Rolling Shutter Desk

English style desk with closable shutter,
in maple wood, made in the first half of the 1900s in Italy.
Desk with small dimensions but full of compartments and
internal drawers useful for organizing your work material.
The extractable top and the two additional pullers 
increase the support surface during use 
The desk was used in shared environments and
precisely to keep documents confidential and safe,
allowed locking of the shutter, the central drawer and the side door.
Access to the four drawers on the left is controlled
by a spring mechanism that is triggered
when the shutter is completely opened, freeing its use.
The slot on one side allowed letters or documents to be deposited, 
which would have been found when the shutter was opened
The height of the top is 75 cm
