The service is made up of two jugs, one for tea, the other for coffee, and a milk jug.
Each piece is decorated, in the base part, with Renaissance-style sconces evoking spearheads.
The blackened wooden handles are attached to the body of the different pieces by staples repeating this pattern.
The lids of both jugs are decorated with a star pattern in the same style.
This Renaissance model called “Fer de lance” is one of the most beautiful and sought-after from the Cardeilhac house.
Each piece is hallmarked:
. Minerve 1st title before 1973
. Goldsmith's mark: EC with the Legion of Honor and a crescent moon for Ernest Cardeilhac, mark used between 1851 and 1904
. In full: Cardeilhac // Paris
