The inkwell in a pretty Théodore Deck Persian blue color, with its lid surmounted by a Fô dog, its paw on a ball, two figures lying on large cushions hold the inkwell in balance with their legs and feet, the openwork pen-rest within a faux-bamboo frame, on small naturalistic feet, small chip and loss on the back of the ceramic (see photo), otherwise in good condition.
