This is a prize received during a rifle shooting competition. Chiseled decoration of scrolls, flowers and foliage. A cartridge is visible with the inscription in the center: Edouard Dufour to the Carabiniers of Guillaume Tell. Minerva hallmark, Goldsmith hallmark: Jules BOIVIN (active from January 20, 1862 to February 1, 1881, 15 rue des Quatre Fils, specialty: small table part).
