"Senior Naval Officer Hat, France 19th / 20th Century / Navy"
Beautiful hat of a senior naval officer model 1853/70. France third republic period (1870-1940).Black felt hat, trimmed with a black fabric braid with navy anchors.
It is also decorated with a large golden cannetille braid, a fabric cockade and finally two gold cannetille flocks on the sides.
Inside lining made of silk and leather headband.
Made by "Victor Tudal" in Toulon.
Good general state of conservation.
