Pair of rocaille candelabra in gilded bronze, DLG Meissonnier, 19th century. Rich pair of chiseled and gilded bronze candelabra, quality work with rococo ornamentation dating from the second half of the 19th century. Inspired by the work of the ornamentalist Juste-Aurèl Meissonnier (1695-1750) this pair of candelabra presents a beautiful twist of its shaft, the whole has a beautiful vitality, the shapes are energetic, the rocaille ornamentation completely covers the shapes, the arms supporting the 4 lights have beautiful curves, they are designed in the form of tortuous branches dressed with long acanthus leaves, the vases are also well worked with chiseled foliage.
