Pair of Louis XV style consoles, Napoleon III period. Dating from the Napoleon III period, this pair of wall consoles is a Louis XV style work in lacquered and gilded carved wood. Curved in shape, this pair of consoles with rocaille ornamentation rests on two strongly arched legs in curve and counter-curve joined in the lower part by an openwork crosspiece of a large shell caught between two C shapes, the belt crosspieces are also openwork with a pretty rococo background, the front crosspieces repeat the ornamentation of the lower crosspiece. The two consoles are topped with their original white marble, molded with a corbin groove and beak. Very decorative and in good structural condition, this pair of consoles is to be fixed to the wall, the marbles are also in very good condition.
