"Emile Galle, Art Nouveau Tea Table, White Wisteria Marquetry"
It has two scrolled tops with molded edges. The upper tray bears Gallé's 'Japanese' signature and marquetry of clusters of white wisteria and darker foliage. The smaller, lower plate is positioned 'crotch'. It rests on four discreetly moved and fluted legs. Beautiful cabinetmaking work from the School of Nancy in good original condition.
