Particular wooden sculpture dating back to the 18th century depicting a dark-skinned holy monk, probably from Hispanic colonies, coming from a private collection, placed on a non-coeval wooden base, presents ancient polychromy with traces of gilding on the dress, on the left arm the saint wears a basket not identifiable, the face clearly shows the face of a colored saint, which can be seen not only from the polychromy but also from the sculpted hair.
