Ancient oil painting on canvas depicting the portrait of a noblewoman belonging to the family of Charles III of Bourbon with a gilded and carved wooden frame coeval with him.

The noblewoman of high social standing is portrayed half-length with her gaze turned to the left towards the viewer and she wears a soft dress in San Leucio fabric covered by an Ermine shawl.

Further embellishing the work is the refined execution of the jewels worn by the woman of clear Bourbon origin.

Note the careful rendering of her facial features, the attention to the nuances of the complexion, the sharpness of the contours underlined by the light.
