Overall length: 36,5 cm - Barrel length: 20,2 cm - Caliber: 16.7 mm
Octagonal, damascus barrels, slightly blunderbussed, with forty-eight rifling. Stamped C and A in polygons on the left sides and dated 1852 on the right sides with M & N hallmarks.
Speckled steel breeches and breech shrouds, hallmarked.
Back plates, case-hardened and hallmarked, signed Mre. Nle. De Châtellerault.
Iron rods with brass ring heads, hallmarked.
All fittings in case-hardened steel, hallmarked. Finger rest bridges.
Walnut mounts with short shafts, squared and punched stocks.
Case-hardened steel caps, fixed by two screws with rings forming reservoirs. One holds the powder pod and the other a spare chimney.
Very good condition.
