Four borders including the main ivory decorated with seedlings of bulbs and stylized flower petals in polychrome. Ahmed Yazdan Panah, known as Dilmaghani, is an entrepreneur, rich and benevolent man from the people of Kerman who lived in the first years of the current century of the Hegira, i.e. until 1323. He was originally a producer of carpets, but he spent his wealth on agriculture and the development of the villages of Kerman. Dilmaghani was responsible for the Kerman carpet trade, he weaved and prepared very high quality carpets. He consolidated the existing carpets and sent them to America, England and Germany. As these rugs were impeccable and well designed, he found many customers abroad, especially in America. He expanded his factories and opened new ones in Zarand, Raver, Mahan and other villages outside Kerman, and it can almost be said that he monopolized Kerman carpets at this time. During his lifetime, he built a care center for orphaned children, or orphanage. In fact, this orphanage was his personal home, which he dedicated during his lifetime and after his death it was named “Dilmqani” garden or orphanage at the end of Zarisef Street in the east of Kerman city. Ahmad Yazdan Panah was involved in the production of Kerman carpets and he is mentioned in the history of Kerman carpets. He represented the Italian company “Dilmqani” in southeastern Iran. For this reason, the people of Kerman also called it Dilmaqani. His innovative designs and rugs are still famous around the world under his own name. Ahmed Yazdanpanah was also interested in culture in addition to business and industry. He reconstructed various parts of the Seljuk period mosque, including its eastern porch.
