Pretty bronze with brown patina representing a foot hunter officer from the Third Republic, built on a base. We can read on the terrace of this bronze: - Alsace Lorraine, France on a map at the foot of this soldier, - whenever you want. - the national strength of my people consists in their independence, the signature of ANFRIE, Salon des Beaux ARTS 1886. Charles ANFRIE born in 1833, French sculptor active in PARIS exhibiting at the salon between 1883 and 1895 Bronze of beautiful height: 60 cm.
