This is undoubtedly an old “hair souvenir” or reliqary frame. Indeed, this is explained by its original convex protective glass which is much more rounded than those found for miniatures, here there is room to put a slightly bulky object such as a reliquary or a medal or others. Here is a decoration of quivers, ribbons and laurel branches supported by its rounded round frame with laurel leaves surrounded by spokes of pearls on each side.
