Inro with 4 boxes in brown lacquer, and lead and mother-of-pearl inlays.It is decorated in black, brown and gold lacquer taka-makiye with 3 characters hauling a boat.
The interior boxes are in nashiji lacquer.
Japan, mid-Edo period (1603-1868).
Small lack of mother-of-pearl on an inlay of the boat.
