Burma, kingdom of Mandalay, mid-20th century, 1930s/1950s, superb Buddha in gilded wood decorated with beads. He sits on a pedestal in the position of “taking the earth as witness” (Bhûmisparsha-Mudrà) and in an attitude of meditation.
Good quality production.
Total height: 44 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
Good condition except for slight normal wear and small cracks without impact.
