The beads, round and smooth, display a light red-orange color with delicate white streaks, typical of the prized Japanese Cerasuolo (Momo) coral (Corallium elatius). This coral is distinguished by a white vein, called "anima," running through the entire branch, ensuring its authenticity and making it easily recognizable. Unlike Mediterranean coral, oceanic coral is distinguished by white veins inside the branches, creating characteristic small white spots.

The necklace features an Art Deco clasp in 835 silver adorned with marcasites, adding a touch of refinement and authenticity.
