Louis XV Style Cane Bed In Golden Lacquer

This French Cane Bed in the Louis XV style is a beautiful addition to any bedroom. The bed frame is made of high-quality wood and features intricate carvings that create a stunning visual effect. The gold lacquer finish gives the bed a luxurious look. The rectangular shape and dimensions of 200cm in length, 160cm in width, and 142cm in height make it compatible with an EU king-size mattress. The bed is an original Louis XV design from France, manufactured around 1970. Some assembly is required, and additional parts may be needed such as a slat bed base. This Vintage piece is perfect for those who appreciate French furniture.

The Gold lacquer is a later addition to this French Cane Bed. There is a dint in the cane of the footboard.

Our items available for sale have been purchased and chosen for their age, admirable appearance and time gained patina, design status and skilled craftsmanship.




It should be noted that these works are antique or vintage and as such may be expected to show some signs of age, use and wear, please take this into consideration prior to purchase.
Shipping

Our main Depot is located in Montpellier in the South of France. The majority of our stock will be shipped from this location.

For small Items weighing less than 20kg and girth 180cm(W+Hx2), this is around 50x30x40cm box. 

Delivery 7-14 days dependant on your location. 

You may be subject to customs charges for your package which will be payable on the delivery of your item. Please contact our dedicated team for more information before your purchase.



Bulky items to UK and EU

These items will be shipped with our own transport partners who operate in-between UK-France-Spain. We aim to send these items in 2-4 weeks. We can ship to other EU countries, however the delivery times will be vary.

Bulky Items - Overseas Shipping

We will need your full address to obtain a true shipping cost from our freight forwarding partners.

When all cost have been agreed we will organise packaging, and crating if required.

The shipment will then be delivered to our Freight forwarding partners in the UK, and booked on to the next sailing.

Sailings can take between 2-4 weeks depending on your destination.


If you do not have a customs broker to organise customs taxes (you may be liable for taxes on your purchase) and paperwork, our shipping partners can assist with this.
These overseas deliveries can take between 4-8 weeks.

Insurance

For any shipments where you have paid an extra insurance fee, in the unfortunate event of any damage in transit. All damages must be reported to the end destination courier and us straight away in order that we can start the claims process.

Returns

In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase please contact us within 3 days of receipt of your purchase to arrange return and refund.

Returns should be in the original package as received

Items must be returned in their "as sold" condition.

The purchaser should communicate with the relevant shipping company that it is a return shipment, and cover all costs.
