"Oil On Copper "
We present this oil on copper by a follower of Nicolas LANCRET famous painter of the 18th century 1690/1743. Our painting represents a country meal animated by people and animals. We looked at 112 works by LANCRET and none emerged as being the original of our painting which would be a copy if we had found it, or else it is a "Lancret" interpretation or why not an original but we cannot confirm this so we are selling it as being from a follower. But in return it is indeed an oil on copper from the 18th century. Very good general condition. (E24)
