"Single Strand White Akoya Pearl Necklace With Diamond Set 18kt Gold Clasp"
The akoya pearl is a saltwater cultured pearl from the akoya oyster (Pinctada fucata martensii). Akoya are considered to be the classic pearl used for necklaces and other pearl jewelry, with perfect round shapes, bright mirror-like luster and neutral colors. An interesting piece of akoya pearl trivia is that the akoya oyster is the smallest commercially farmed, pearl-producing oyster. An average akoya pearl is only 7 mm, while an average South Sea pearl is in the 12 mm range. Akoya pearls are currently being harvested in sizes from as small as 1 mm up to the very rare 10-11 mm. pearls, unless color-treated, have neutral colors and overtones.

This white single strand Akoya pearl necklace has pearls regular in size, each one measure 7 mm with creamy / ivory overtones and excellent luster.
Pearls are round in shape with no visible caves and luminous spectrum, 100% natural with no dying or enhancements.

All of these nice pearls are excellent to near mint in quality and secured with a wonderful 18 kt white gold clasp set with diamonds
The clasp is hallmarked with the 18kt gold standard mark *750* and with the Italian goldsmith's mark
End to end it measures 59,5 cm (without the clasp) and weight 47,01 gr
