Old Wedding Blanket - Ga Initials - English Cotton Pique - Circa 1930-40

Beautiful wedding blanket made from a piece of flat cotton piqué with a very rich and marked floral decoration. It bears the number G-A on each of its sides, hand embroidered with large padded satin stitch. Two borders are embellished with large handmade lace. This piece of trousseau dating from the 1930s-40s is in excellent condition, very white, washed and ironed.
