"Art Deco Bookends Birds Herons Storks I Rochard"
Pair of sculptures mounted in bookends in Art Deco style and period. Very interesting pair of sculptures representing two birds, herons or storks, very typical in the 1930s style with a very beautiful original silver patina in excellent condition. Also note the very good condition of the period marbles, which is very rare. Irénée Rochard is an excellent animal sculptor of his time with a recognizable and particular style halfway between classicism and modernity.
